HIGH-VOLTAGE CIRCUIT BREAKER CONTROL

compare

Various methods are used to assess the state of the high-voltage circuit breaker, but it is most convenient to conduct the circuit breaker diagnostic with the help of special instruments such as PKV/M7, PKV/U3.0 and PKV/M15. These instruments allow you to control the speed and time parameters of high-voltage circuit breakers, as well as to record graphs/measure the movement of the traverse.

The use of the instruments of PKV group significantly reduces the time of the complex examination, with a significant improvement in its quality, and also allows to avoid overhaul sometimes. In addition, PKV/M7, PKV/U3.0 and PKV/M15 are able to early identify defects, that are known to be among the most dangerous.

Another instrument in this diagnostic group is UMVV-1.1 system, which is designed for online-monitoring of the commutation resource of high-voltage circuit breakers of all voltage classes (with general or separate drive) based on the wear rate of their contacts.

The instrument provides additional information about the need for mechanical elements maintenance or the replacement of the arc-extinguishing contact / chamber of the high-voltage circuit breaker, which reduces the need for maintenance shutdown. This provides a more cost-effective approach and maintenance "as required".
